Dr. Therry Eparwa will present her completed Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) study, which developed guidelines for the recommendation of medicinal cannabis for the treatment of muscle  in adults.

Based on the best available evidence and compilation of empirical use, this forum discusses medicinal cannabis’ clinical efficacy, untoward effects, and best doses and routes of administration for treating various types of muscle spasms.

Dr. Eparwa attained her DNP from Seattle University on June 2017. She is an assistant clinical professor who teaches undergraduate students at the College of Nursing.

The College of Nursing "Faculty Scholars' Forum" lecture series was launched to provide a venue for nursing faculty members to present their scholarship. The setting also provides presenters with the opportunity to receive feedback from colleagues in a highly interactive, extremely supportive, and engaging environment.
